Lego Mini-You

3rd Grade: Lego Mini-You

3rd Graders viewed some lego mini-figures. We also talked about how mini-figures can be divided into 3 sections-head, torso and legs. These are all equal, so a mini-figure is divided into thirds. Using the knowledge of thirds, students drew a lego mini-you (with a step-by-step guide for drawing, head, torso and legs.). Students pretended they were a mini-figure and drew the lego person as themselves. Of course, I encouraged imagination and told students they could pretend to be disquised as a superhero, a pirate, or even represent themselves as their future-self. We had a lot of creative ideas!

Very impressive 3rd grade!
