3rd Grade: Paper Weaving
3rd Graders learned about weaving and were quite successful at paper weaving. 2nd grade also did this project. I have learned that students younger than 2nd struggle with this..so I suggest 2nd and up! This was a nice end of the year project..as I was packing up tons of materials (my classroom will be painted this summer). Construction paper was something I readily had on hand and I had paper strips left over from a project we made last year (Molas). Students decorated around the border with oil pastels.
